| It is worth mentioning that the Bioclon Institute and Silanes Laboratories, which comprise part of the Silanes Group, together invested 8% of their sales in research and development of innovative health care products, which has enabled them to achieve an important position in this field, both nationally and internationally. |

| Currently, Bioclon Silanes markets its products in Mexico and several countries in Central and South America; and has begun to enter markets in the United States, Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. It is important to remember that this is the only Mexican company that has received approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for conducting clinical studies in the Unites States with fabotherapics. The approved products are: Aracmyn®, for spider bites, Alacramyn®, for scorpion stings, and Antivipmyn®, for bites by snakes belonging to the Viperidae family. |

| In Mexico, four antivenoms are included in the basic group of health sector drugs and, as a result, to which any institution has access: Anti-scorpion fabotherapic, Anti-arachnid fabotherapic, Anti-viper fabotherapic, Anti-coral fabotherapic. |

For example, the Certificación Internacional de Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (International Certification for Good Manufacturing Practices) was granted to Bioclon by the Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos (INVIMA) (National Institute for Drug and Food Monitoring), of Columbia's Minister of Social Protection, and by COFEPRIS, Mexico. |
